Evgeny Lukinsky (Belyakov) Was born in Leningrad in 1976.
In 2000 graduated from St Petersburg State Technical University (Polytechnic Institute), faculty of technical cybernetics.
He’s interruptedly taken photos from childhood, and started to more or less deliberately practice photography since 2002-2003. Evgeny Lukinsky:
«A man is a multidimensional creature, living here, in what is normally called “objective reality” only in his corporal part. And his real nature is connected to other higher levels of the universe. Because of this deep connection to the Divine a man a priori has a craving for something different, evanescent, a persistent desire to join his inner sacred flame to something akin to it, but beside himself. Many people practice various spiritual disciplines to reach it, and this might be the most direct and efficient method. Others dive into fantastic and wonderful, but anyway man-made and thus not absolutely alive, world of art. In its best aspects it also can bring one outside the bounds. In the artificial environment of modern cities nature hasn’t been completely destroyed. It sprouts up in a most surprising way, sometimes like a dashed line, and sometimes manifesting itself in an urban world in real living Places with their own soul and character. But one shouldn’t mix them up with areas deliberately constructed by people, like architectural complexes or regular parks. These rather belong to art. Places seem to appear all by themselves, though not avoiding human help. They are spontaneous eruptions of nature inside the dead artificial space, real mystical portals to some extent.
