Alexander PREMIUM Vdovin, real name Alexander Sergeevich Vdovin. Was born on June 24, 1976 to a family of artists on the train from Peking to Moscow (Perm II). Then there was Leningrad. He started painting at the age of 4. He finished children’s art school attached to St Peter’s church. He spent the last year of secondary education in Vermont, USA, where he got to know graffiti and hip-hop culture. In 1995 he entered St Petersburg University of Technology and Design, fashion designer specialty. Thus resulted in his cooperation with brands, producing ultra modern youth fashion clothes, like «UL.TRA», «EXTRA», «Bamboo.co», etc. In 2000 he develops his own fashion line «7 LEAGUE». He starts his work as a freelance artist and designer for the 1st 3D Russian «INVOX» magazine about youth and street culture and participates in a unique design experience (this magazine’s co-project with «EXTRA» company) ”PURE ART” (3x6 billboards). He’s the designer of «HIP-HOP ALL STARS» logos and advertising modules. Since 2007 he’s been seriously engaged in painting. He arranges a number of solo and collective shows in St Petersburg, Moscow, Kiev. That very year was marked by creation of «TRATATART» art-union, promoting bio-ethical trend in painting and freedom of creative concept. At present Alexander gives painting lessons to children and teenagers in his studio in Gorbunki (Leningradskaya area), provides painting on clothes workshops, helps young artists and photographers make their way and suggests all comers losing themselves in a world of his wonderful creations. He dreams of flying on his private jet through the rainbow. He introduces himself as a hip-hop artist, and his pictures as RAP IN PICTURES. |
