“Mitki Rock’n’Roll” exhibition will be a scenic setting of the Festival. It naturally “grew” from Vladimir Rekshan’s same-name book, published by Petropolis publishing house. There are many, but obviously not enough photos in the book, devoted to the author’s participation in the famous Mitki art-group actions. On forty cardboard pages the author placed more than a hundred issue-related photos and decorated the pages with hand-written fragments from the book. There will be short films demonstrating its photo and literary content shown during the Festival. The public will be also presented clothing items, appearing on the photos and in the films. All the rest is in the Festival program. The Festival is for children above the age of 18 years.

Rock’n’Roll” exhibition September 21 (Wednesday) @ 18:00 — presentation of “Vladimir Rekshan & Saint-Petersburg” rock band DVD-concert, devoted to the band’s 40th anniversary. September 22 (Thursday) @ 18:00 — presentation of Vladimir Rekshan’s collected works (first four volumes: “Buenos-Aires”, “Horror and Fear”, “Mitki Rock’n’Roll”, “Public Friend”). September 23 (Friday) @ 18:00 — concert of “Mitki yeah-yeah” band, official candidates for participation and award in “Eurovision-2014” contest. September 24 (Saturday) @ 18:00 — official closing. Vladimir Rekshan is a writer, rock-musician, sportsman and public friend. He was born in Leningrad in 1950. Graduated from Leningrad State University, historical faculty. One of Russian rock-music founders. Author of twenty published books. The exhibition is part of presentation program of Vladimir Rekshan’s collected works. For now “Petropolis” publishing house has published the following volumes: “Buenos-Aires”, “Horror and Fear”, “Mitki Rock’n’Roll”, and “Public Friend”. In the nearest future two more volumes are planned for publishing.
