Marina Belkina was born in Leningrad. She graduated from Theatre Institute. Worked at Lenfilm. Was a film actress.
Played and decorated the scene at A.Khvostenko’s studio (Paris). Wrote an «Interview» novel (wasn’t published). Solo shows:

«Ten days of holidays after New Year are a wonderful gift. You can go to bed at four, as usual, but you needn’t set your alarm clock at half past seven. In early morning, at about noon, you can fetch an elegant tray with coffee and chocolates from the kitchen and enjoy internet surfing for two hours running, as newspapers take a good deep rest. You can continue to write a novel or paint a picture on an easel. You can devote a day to apartment cleaning. You can lazily attend cultural social events, etc. At last you can pay attention to your child and to the bright clean frosty winter outside. And of course you shouldn’t nag about “long holidays which nobody needs”». |
