Was born in Yakutsk in 1972. Date of death is not known yet.
Generally speaking, we could finish at this point.
There were sport schools in Yakutsk and Moscow.
Then there was St Petersburg, after it came England.
There were a couple of tries to enter Institute of Literature (of course, named after Gorky). From the second attempt passed the creative contest, blew off entrance application.
There was a faculty of journalism (Leningrad State University), unfinished, but I managed to graduate from Northumbria University, Newcastle UK - BA Fine art: bachelor of arts with second class honours (upper division).
I started to fool with paints and brushes in England (verbal environment changed, and it became impossible to work with words).
Technique: canvas, oil; board, oil; whatever else I find at hand, oil.
The works were exhibited in "Bookend" gallery in Carlisle, UK (co-shows with Neil Ross in 1997 and 1998) and in the galleries of Northumbria University: a solo show in "1st floor" gallery in 2004 and a co-show "The Degree Show" in 2006.
Works were sold (each and all), they are goofing around the world: in US, England, Russia.
What I’m singing about: works are based on a still-life genre. Here I could tell you a lot. But the artists crowing for some reason and without it are mostly chatterboxes. I refuse to join glorious ranks of chatterboxes. Let others crow. I’d rather keep silent. Just for a change. "We talked with Alan about aesthetic pleasure.
