Evgeniya Golant was born in St. Petersburg in 1973.
In 2001, she graduated from the Leningrad High Art and Industrial School named after V.Mukhina.
She took part in more than 10 collective and 8 personal exhibitions.
Canvas by Evgeniya Golant may confuse visual receptors of the broadest circle of spectators and those who are fond of painting. The author paints her mother, father, sister, so the closest part of her family. But look at it – how does it entangled with your own impressions from your friends and relatives. “Since the age of 5, I have been drawing and painting my parents. My parents and I are changed, and my painting is changing together with us. There are different situations, different moods, different times – “Father, mother and my sister on the father’s shoulders” (I was 5), “Mother is talking telephone”, “Mother is eating”, “Mother in spectacles with blue rim”, “Father is ill”, “Mother is tired”, “Mother loves father”.
It is not necessary to stay long before an object looking at the end of your nose and making a face of a “real specialist”. The world consists mainly of positive, calm emotions and they come to us immediately and at once. All these familiar and unfamiliar faces don’t cover anything from you. There is no space for a riddle because the talent is always it.
